“Simple pleasure of Takoyaki”
Simple takoyaki (octopus balls) without the trimmings. Even with all the hype from Netflix and a Michelin star, this cafe remains unassuming whilst the mother and son team thrive at their monozukuri. Good value and tasty! We were happy to be able to enjoy their takoyaki without the hustle and bustl...e.

“Tasty old school takoyaki”
Saw this shop on Netflix street food series and wanted to try it and support Mr Kita on keeping the tradition going. The shop is a bit off the main shopping street but it is worth it. We were lucky as there was no queue when we arrive around 11am plus and the takoyaki are being cooked. No frill, ver...y tasty takoyaki - crispy on outside softer inside with nice bite of the octopus inside.

“Traditional Takoyaki balls. Must try!”
No fancy fillings, sauces or flakes. Pure traditional Takoyaki balls. We were lucky to wait just 15 mins before we tucked into these popular balls. Easily gulped down 16 pcs (2 pcs)!

“Michelin Takoyaki”
Small establishment that prepares their delicious acclaimed Takoyaki very meticulously. Out front you'll see the wonderful little puffs carefully rotated and browned with the addition of batter incrementally layered in the greased hot irons. Takoyaki is made to order and is available as take away (...or sit-down minimum 8 pieces per order). Hot puffy golden crisp and delicious.
