CORAL KITCHEN at cove

We stumbled upon Coral Kitchen at Cove while exploring the Nishinomiya marina, and what an amazing discovery it was! My family, including my two boys (ages 7 and 9), were immediately drawn to the cozy, rustic charm of the restaurant. We decided to sit on the terrace, soaking in the perfectly relaxed... atmosphere and the stunning marina views. The menu was a delight, offering a wide array of pizzas and pasta that had our boys jumping for joy. We ordered a feast: a classic Margherita with plenty of mozzarella, the unbelievably "addictive" edamame, a rich tomato pasta with fried eggplant, a savory shrimp and mushroom ajillo, and a creamy shrimp and spinach pasta. Each dish was not just beautifully presented, but tasted absolutely divine—this is hands-down one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever visited. What made it even better was how incredibly reasonable the prices were for such high-quality food. The exceptional service truly made our evening unforgettable. Our server, Miyuu, was incredibly patient and helpful, navigating our limited Japanese with perfect English and a warm smile. Matumoto went above and beyond, making sure we got a taxi to the station easily. The kindness of the entire staff, combined with the phenomenal food and breathtaking location, makes this place a true hidden gem. We're already planning to go back before we leave Osaka!

Located at Nishinomiya Hama, this is a casual Italian restaurant. A great space. For lunch service, they use the second floor. They have patio seating beside a mini pool. The inside has various areas, standard tables as well as a "lounge" area. I really appreciated the layout, the tables are ...big for a Japanese restaurant. It's been a while since I didn't feel cramped. On this mid-week lunch rush, it was quite busy. Most of the guests were ladies out for lunch with friends or colleagues. The atmosphere leans toward chatting in a comfortable setting. As for the food, my burger was decent, not overly complicated. While my wife's set plate was very nice. Salad with fried fish. They do have an all-you-can-eat bread option. On the first floor, they have a children's play pit. Perfect for families. One caveat is that the weather would significantly impact the atmosphere and dining experience. Today, the weather was perfect. Not hot nor cold, it was fantastic. Not sure, however, I would want to come here in inclement weather. Pay parking onsite. Super cheap rate. We would go again.

I've been here a couple of times and love it! Western style seafood. Great taste! Waiting staff didn't seem to be trained, maybe just inexperience? Lots of space if you want to have a party. Family friendly. Recommend for couples. Hourly coin parking available. Roof top patio with small pool.... Looks fun for the summer!
