Unfortunately they ran out of burger buns so we couldn’t get the Shimane Waygu Burger. In the end we just ordered a cappuccino & to our surprise it was beautiful. One of the best we’ve had anywhere in Japan. The restaurant looks quite impressive with some cosy indoor & outdoor dining spaces. Also, ...the menu has some tasty looking dishes on it, & reasonably priced. Next time we’re in Osaka we’ll definitely stop in to try the food at Barkt.

Okay - we are in Japan. But seriously - this was the smallest tiramisu I ever had in my entire life. Paid 6€ - finished in 3 seconds. Not a very good equation. Wouldn’t come here again.

Just a warning they load your bill with 10% service charge and another 8% tax which will bump you bill way up. It's a bit over the top for what you get though the food is ok. The pizza was small but done well. Great avocado prawn salad. The fish of the day, again small but very well prepared. Th...e crab risotto was a bit tart and too small. The recommendeddesserts were big and looked great but were mainly light sponge cake and creme. They looked better than they tasted. If the taxes and charges were not involved, it'd be ok and I'd return, but we paid 13,400 for a light meal for 4 including 2 small beers and 2 house wines. I suppose that's expected from a hotel restaurant.

You come to eat in Osaka so don't get bent out of shape with the selection. What they do offer is good enough.
