Ryoma Main store

We stayed one night at Muni hotel in Arashiyama and they recommended us this good old local scene Izakaya restaurant. From our hotel, we did take a taxi as it is probably about 20 minutes walk. Inside, it was as authentic as it can get, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. Little intimidated at ...first, however, waitress was very helpful. She made us comfortable and guided us to order. All of the dishes we ordered were excellent and it was interesting to see the open kitchen where a team was working hard to prepare customer's food. Possibly due to the currency exchange at the time, but after all the drinking and eating, our bill came out to be very reasonable $70 for both of us. That's including a souvenir T-shirt! Ryoma provides an authentic Japanese dining experience for a great value. We were really glad to find this restaurant.
