Stumbled across this small place near the subway stop on my last day in town and wish I found it day one. Turns out it's a great little Chinese restaurant with Japanese touches, delivering great food at a good price. Huge menu with their best sellers being available in regular and sample sizes (thin...k tapas), which must customers were ordering in numbers. Most of their menu has English translations. I, though, ordered off of their Japanese only specials menu and wasn't disappointed. I had their Chinese inspired ramen, their specialty gyozas and what turned out to be almond pudding. Every bite of everything was delicious. I'm now home and planning a return to Nara in the fall, in part to eat here again. This would be an amazing place to go to with a bunch of friends and order everything off of the small serving menu. I have to say, I'm a huge food nerd and it's been a very, very long time since I've come across a menu where is order almost everything on it.
