“Unique and Fun”
They say Osaka is the Kitchen of Japan, and it is true; because you always get your food fresh, hot, and fast. This restaurant is no exception. I compare it to the sushi restaurants where you grab as much as you can eat on mini-plates going by your booth on small conveyor belts from the kitchen. T...he concept of Kushiya is do-it-yourself deep-fried skewers, where anything and everything prepped by the visible chef can be popped into your vat of clean oil at your table and then popped into your mouth. It is fun, hence why my 12 yr old son chose it as the place for his birthday dinner. It's relaxed and festive at the same time, and although a bit over the mid-range on price for dinner for 4, very filling and very satisfying. If you like trying new things and new Japanese foods, you will like this one. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the pricing. It could be about 20% lower.
