TORIKIZOKU Nishinomiya

There is a Torikizoku everywhere, throughout Japan. They offer cheap drinks and BBQ chicken on a stick. They have a tried and true format that they do not waiver from. What you get is consistency. However, consistency at a low standard isn't that great. This location is a smaller location, total...ly packed with young families. There was a lineup outside the door. You can have any part of the chicken BBQ on a stick with either salt or teriyaki bbq sauce. We prefer the salt. It is cheap!!!! 298 yen per serving for most things on the menu. As for the actual food, you get what you pay for. The chicken is greasy. The meat was dry. Over sauced or salted but you can wash it down with lots of cold drinks. This chain is great when you come here with a group of friends. Not a date place. We would probably end up in another Torikizoku in the future but probably not this location. It is just too small of a location to accommodate a large group, too busy to find seats readily.
