“Our favourite takoyaki in Osaka”
We had read about this place in our Lonely Planet guide and it did not disappoint. The guy that ran it was really friendly, we shared 10 balls washed down with some beers. Delicious!

“Great takoyaki”
Crunchy outside and creamy in the inside. Simple and tasty street food. Even better with plenty of bonito flakes.

“Heavenly balls of gooey goodness”
I had my first takoyaki experience at Wanaka and I'm not sure if I can bear to eat them anywhere else because they were heavenly! The explosion of flavours combined with the ridiculously perfect texture (lightly crispy on the outside, but pillow soft and gooey inside) made this one of my top Japan f...ood experiences. They make them super fresh to order, right in front of you, and you can take them out in a box of 8. Perfect street food (I recommend eating them around Triangle Park around the corner for some excellent people-watching).

Went running around to get takoyaki here based on the reviews. It's worth trying but definitely not super exciting to eat.
