“Overrated”
We were disappointed! Wanaka was the first place we hit when we arrived at Kuromon market. There were a few tables of the customers inside already and there was a fresh batch of takoyaki on the stove. We excitedly ordered an order of their "original". Bite into one and it was...NOT CRISPY. the wh...ole thing actually fell off your bamboo pick and was gooey. I looked over at the other table, one table behind us was having the same issue as well. I have eaten takoyaki all over the place since my childhood, but this was a disappointment. We had better takoyaki at a themed cafe later on in our trip that's how sad this was. Next time I am in Osaka, I will give this place one more try, given their fame and the possibility that this was a one-time mishap. However, my first impression with them was not the best.

“One stop restaurant for Osaka Culinary”
This place is recommended for tasting the signature dish of Osaka: Takoyaki and Okonomiyaki. Just visit one place and you can have them all. They offer different sauce and toppings for the Takoyaki, also for Okonomiyaki you can choose the shrimp or pork topping. The restaurant also sell grilled scal...lop (800 Yen). Takoyaki starts from 800 Yen, and Okonomiyaki from 500 Yen.

“Must Try Takoyaki!”
Out of all the takoyaki we ate at Osaka, this is by far our favorite! They also have a branch at Namba if you are not going to Kuromon Ichiba.

“Quick Lunch at Kuromon Market”
We had two main Osaka specialities Okonomiyaki & Takoyaki here and it was fantastic experience, fresh, street food style, aromatic stuff. Super tasty. Definitely give it a try!

“Delicious takoyaki ”
We found this shop during our visit in Kuromon six months ago. There is always a long queue. We had their takoyaki and it was delicious. They added big pieces of squid into the takoyaki. Unfortunately, oysters were out of season, so they did not offer the fried oysters.
