“Fantastic Bar!!”
We happened to stumble upon this bar when we were looking for a place to sit, enjoy some AC and have a drink. We had no idea it was going to be SO GOOD!!! The bartender took great care in making our drinks, was super kind and friendly and made us feel very welcome. Our drinks were fabulous and we ...loved them so much we had a second round! I highly recommend the amaretto sour but we also liked the peach bellini, vodka tonic and even a shirley temple! I would definitely go back and recommend this bar to everyone!

“Great whiskey and great conversation.”
A great little bar with a wide selection of spirits. I had a chilled out evening discussing whiskey with the bartender Yoji (I hope I spelled it correctly) Who despite having as little English as I do Japanese struck up a great conversation through Google translate (or DL translate in my case - try ...it. It's a lot better for English to Japanese imo) I sampled a number of lovely Japanese whiskies and finished off the night with a great Blend chosen by the barman himself. Really worth a look if you enjoy spirits.

“Great bar!”
We loved this place! There was no cover charge and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. The vibe was welcoming and the chairs were comfortable and spacious. Would definitely recommend.

“Number 1 bar for a good reason!”
If you want to taste some excellent Japanese whiskeys; seek no further! After extensive research about where to get some different types of Japanese whiskeys we ended up here and do not regret it. The clear menu is helpful to choose what to taste and the choice of Japanese whiskeys is good. Would de...finitely go back here for a glass or two. Make sure to try their own Pontocho blend which they keep in a small barrel. Pretty good stuff!

“Everything you could want from a bar in Pontocho.”
My girlfriend and I ducked into this bar for a few drinks after dinner. My girlfriend tried and loved a few of the cocktails and I sampled some of the local whiskey. Lots of options (high end all the way down to 500yen a drink). Yuki was absolutely lovely showed us photos of her cats and even let us... take a couple of little cat statues home with us (so cute). Her English was amazing made the experience so wonderful.
