“Up the stairs tasty treat”
Delish and good value. Sei is a sweetheart. Beef is far better priced than neighboring restaurants. Drinks and service were so quick

“Hidden Gem in Kyoto”
Location easy to find, ambience good. Food always superb, we love kobe beef with their authentic original sauce since 1955. Every time we go kyoto, we always visit and have dinner in this place.

“Wow!”
This is our second trip to Kyoto and our third time to this restaurant. The Kobe and Wagyu beef are incredible and only a fraction of the price of what one would pay in the U.S. My kids love this place too and we keep returning partly because of them. Staff is very kind as well.

“Very good”
Food was good! The server and the cook were very attentive. It eas a relaxing atmosphere and it was not too busy which allowed us to sit right away. We enjoyed our dinner!

“Exceptional wagyu and Kobe beef in Kyoto”
We've had dinner here while being in Kyoto. It was amazing. I'd definitely go with their traditional sauce. While being quite soft (it doesn't overwhelm the meat's flavor), at the same time it adds something unique. Service was exceptional. Very recommended. It's also open till quite late, which is ...not so common in this city.
