“Dim Sum”
Yesterday I enjoyed dim sum here for the first time in several years. We had the all-you-can-eat dim sum for 4000 yen. I think it’s a little pricey but there was a great variety of dishes and most of it was excellent. A few dishes may have sat too long before being served but the rest were very goo...d. We ate too much. Like many Chinese restaurants it seems to be suffering because of the recent corona virus outbreaks. This restaurant would normally be packed and lively on a Sunday but was very quiet yesterday.

“Overpriced But tasty.”
This is a restaurant that draws you in by cheaper prices shown outside. Inside the prices are ridiculously HIGH! The food was very tasty but the portion sizes are VERY small. I would NOT recommend this restaurant as I hate being conned. Beware! They also add a 10% service charge. For one very small ...main course and 4 sum sum plus drinks ( no wine or spirits) the bill was 7326 Yen! Never again.

“Beware of the price per value!”
This Cantonese restaurant prides itself for its high prices and small food servings. The only way to get value for the price is to order the all-u-can-eat on weekends. But they limit u to 90 minutes to enjoy your feast. My wife cannot accept that. Otherwise, the Dim Sum provided is many of the steam...ed usuals. We had to leave hungry after spending 54,000 yen and the all-u-can-eat meal would be 76,000 for 2 and they use the 10% service fee and taxes too. The service was not on top of it, or else they were all over each other. There were long gaps in time when we would see no one interested in our table. It is in the basement. Down the street is the Top Lee at the Karasuma Hotel with a nice Chinese restaurant on the second floor overlooking Karasuma...much better service and value for the price. I noted "fine dining" below but only because of the price. BTW, the A/C must not have been working very well either. Bottom line: We were unhappy!

“Extremely Disappointing!”
We went out to eat on a Sunday evening for a celebration. There were few restaurants open and we ended up eating at the Old Hong Kong Restaurant. The restaurant is on the lower ground floor of an office block with some retail shops and an Irish pub nearby. The menu had very little for vegetarians. T...he waiter suggested shitake mushrooms & Chinese seasonal mushrooms on noodles. We got two mushrooms and one green onion on the plate! To add insult to injury, the wine was terrible and the meal was very expensive. We went away hungry and thirsty! We were extremely disappointed!
