There aren’t many decent restaurants near Kamigamo Shrine, but this place is just brilliant. Featuring produce grown in Kyoto, the owner serves item after item of Kyoto’s best in season at that moment. So what you can eat now is probably different from what they serve in a few months. Highly recomme...nd for those looking for a relaxed, traditional style meal near Kamigamo. A few caveats: -The restaurant is owned and operated by one person. For that reason, be prepared for lunch to take a solid 2 hours (Service is slow) -Strongly recommend making a reservation as I’m not sure they take walk-ins. -This restaurant may be adults only (not sure)
