“Excellent gluten free pizza!”
I had the best gluten free pizza so far in Japan. It had vegan cheese and pesto and was delicious! Thank you! Good atmosphere. Please note, that the opening hours are different from those on Google maps.

“A beautiful cafe in a Nara Neighborhood close to downtown - with excellent food & service”
Big Montain Cafe, is in my neighborhood. I dine their frequently. The owner is a very charming young woman, who has worked hard to make her restaurant a success. The service is par exellence and the food is wonderful. I have eaten almost everything on the menu. The coffee is excellent as are th...e desserts. The cafe is airy and light with tall ceilings and natural wood. The smoothies are to die for, besides being healthy. The kitchen is run by an accomplished chef. Everything is fresh and lovingly prepared. Big Mountain has its own farm and often there are organic vegetables for sale. I take friends there and all have praised the cafe. It is a very fine establishment. Additionally, the owner speaks English. And. There is parking. Though in walking distance of downtown Nara.
