Buddhist vegetarian restaurant directly managed by Tenryuji Temple

The cooking of Buddhist vegetarian cuisine starts from wholehearted selection of the seasonal food ingredients and then prepared mainly from vegetables, wild plants and herbs, seaweeds, etc., without using any animal.

The preparation method was completed for properly eating meals that is one of the elements of Zen practice pursuing the key to "peace of the mind generated from harmony of spirit and nature."

*A separate fee to view the Japanese Garden (500 yen including taxes) will be charged when entering the restaurant.
*The prices of the courses include internet reservation fee of 15%.
