“Good value, tasty food, friendly staff”
Read a couple of people's blog recommendation of this place, so gave it a try on my first night in Osaka. It's quite small but had a queue waiting outside. Went for the Standard 12 piece sushi set. Was delicious. Came back on my final night in Japan, and gorged myself by ordering salmon and tuna sus...hi back to back. With the occasional tobiko (flying fish roe) sushi in between. Absolutely loved it.

“Best sushi I've ever had”
We went to this place off the recommendation of Mark Wiens, a food vlogger. It did not disappoint! The chef certainly knows his stuff and the quality of fish is amazing. There is usually a line out the door so best to come here when it opens. The premiere set is 2500 yen and consists of 8 pieces cho...sen by the chef that day. The fatty tuna is especially good, as is the mackeral and shrimp. We came back here a few times - highly highly recommended!

“Melt in your mouth otoro”
We tried all 3 types of maguro - akami, chutoro and otoro, and I had 8 plates of chutoro all to myself. The otoro (priced at 450 yen per piece) was a little too fatty for me, but if you like really melt in your mouth type of otoro, then give this one a go. Go early. There was a long line of people ...waiting to get in by the time we were done with our meal. Overall, very very value for money.

“The rice, the rice, the rice!”
Sushi mean “sour rice”. The raw fish is almost an afterthough. And the rice I had was magical. They could have put peanut butter on top and it would have been great. The fish it’s self was very good quality and tasty, as you would expect. But for me the complexity of flavors, nuttiness and smokine...ss of the rice was a showstopper. It takes years to become an itamae and the chef certainly didn’t skip the part on rice making. The only criticism was that the uni could have been fresher. But the rice made is very good anyway.

“Lovely sushi lunch”
We were in the hectic nearby Kuromon market and decided to seek this place out for lunch. It was Saturday afternoon and we had to wait about fifteen minutes in a short queue outside. The service was fast and friendly with English available. We tried a deluxe set (8 pieces) and standard set (12 piece...s) and a couple of extra pieces. Miso soup was lovely, as was the sushi.
