“Amazing food, amazing staff”
Was desperate for a good Japanese meal after a long day trip to Kyoto, and came here around 0845pm. While most of the other restaurants on the 5 or so floors of restaurants were closing rather early. I found this place and am glad that I did! The hostess and severs were the nicest that could be and ...seated me promptly. They didn’t speak much English, but google translate saved the day. There’s a QR code that links to an automated ordering menu in English that’s really neat, and lets you order as you go. Some of the delicious food I had included the tempura corn, sashimi sea bream, Duck Tsunkatse , grilled Enoki mushroom, grilled scallop in butter, and fried oyster. All this plus a beer and 3 hard drinks for about $38 USD! If your near the JR Umeda station, and even if not, come check out this place. It’s packed with locals (I was the only westerner there) and the staff is friendly and efficient. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a good Isakaya style meal.
