“By far, the best burger I've ever had!”
The wagyu beef burger patties here are melt-in-your mouth good. My wife, daughter and her husband happened upon Hamburg Labo for lunch and it so good that my wife and I went back for dinner two days later. It's quite popular, so reservations were necessary. We sat at the counter for dinner, which ...was interesting and much fun, as we could watch the chef prepare and grill the burgers as well as scallops, oysters and even omelettes. All looked terrific and many people were ordering the scallops. The burgers come in 3 sizes-- regular, large and XL, and can be ordered rare and medium. I had rare and my wife medium. Both were perfectly grilled. The extra large is huge- probably only appropriate for sharing. For lunch I had the regular/for dinner, I couldn't resist ordering the large. There are several choices for sauces. I tried 3 and highly recommend the Demi-glace. Great food, and at the counter, a great experience.

“Excellent Food”
Wonderful friendly place. The food was extraordinarily delicious. English menus are available. The service was excellent, and the waitress was very accommodating to our needs. Would highly recommend you try this restaurant. Conveniently located across the street from Agora Kyoto Karasuma hotel.

“great rendition of a strange dish”
I've never been a fan of the Japanese 'hamburg'. It's basically just a burger patty, with breadcrumbs and other emulsifiers added, on a plate and smothered in cheap demiglace sauce. This was as good as this dish can be! Not too much filler in the meat. Beautifully crafted and prepared. The foie gras... topping with figs and cassis was amazing. Not expensive. Very nice experience. Or, maybe I've just been in Japan too long and have gotten used to this oddball dish? lol

“Bizar good burger and side dishes”
I almost never write a review but wow what a perfect food I just had. When you come to Kyoto please try this place you won’t be disappointed!!

“Fresh and great burger”
If i would advise what to choose - it would be beef/pork burger with green toping. Mozzarella cheese and tomato wasn’t that impressive.
