“Michelin Star Quality at Too Low Prices - Go before it gets discovered!!!!”
This was an amazing discovery. By chance we were staying in an AirBnB just off the famous Fukushima restaurant area (Osaka circle line, Fukushima station) and we found this place. Its amazing. We opted for a five course meal and were we happy with the choices. This place is surprisingly run by thr...ee sommeliers, but only one seems to be in charge of the wine selections. Two are in the kitchen cooking up some simply amazing and creative food. Basically this is high quality ingredients, fresh as can be, with an Italian and Japanese interpretation. The creativity really shines here right form the amuse bouche to the dessert. They have a wine list but the sommelier's recommendations (I know my wines!) were great - a rarely seen Marche - a Franciacorta white and a very moreish Vermentino. We were so impressed we gave teh staff a standing ovation. Being Japanese they were embarrassed as usual. Whatever you do try this place before it gets really discovered. At US$100 a head (five glasses of wine and a very good grappa included), this was a bargain.
