Vena

I just dined at Vena for the second time with the first being a year prior in December of 2024. I had such an amazing first experience I counted the days until I could return; lucky for me it was such a quick return trip and I had another wonderful meal and experience. I opted for the lunch course w...ith wine pairing. The meal was sensational from start to finish. The crab soup, appetizer sampler (diced fish with roe and sour green apple, Japanese Lasagna with black truffles, braised beef tail and cabbage, Chickpea Arancini with Sea Urchin, Caviar-Green Onion-Cheese Crostini) were both terrific. The house-made Tagliolini with Crab and Mussels was sensational followed by Mushroom Risotto with Spanish Ham. The Wagyu Filet was prepared perfectly and mighty tasty and great way to finish the main portion. All the wines were beautifully paired. Dessert was a flan with house-made gelato and local pear. Service was tremendous. Everyone was so kind and graceful. the value for lunch can't be beat. Location was perfect for where I was staying and the surrounding area is home to many amazing restaurants of all kinds. I look forward to returning again soon!
