“Naples in Kyoto”
Kenji brought Naples to Kyoto. If you want to eat an excellent pizza in town, go there! I am Italian and can vouch for this. His pizza is up there with the top Italian ones!

“Authentic Neapolitan pizza in the heart of Kyoto”
Pizzeria Di Ciro serves pizza that wouldn’t be out of place in Naples. Light, airy crust, pure flavors, and perfectly baked in a wood-fired oven. At the table next to us, a group of Italian tourists immediately ordered a second round – that says it all. No fuss, just surprisingly good food at a fair... price. A great option if you’re looking for something different than Japanese cuisine.

“Authentic pizza napoletana in Kyoto! ”
Ciro's pizzeria in Kyoto is really good! The atmosphere is cozy and warm, and the staff is ready to make you feel at home, like in all of Japan! But above all, Ciro's pizza is excellent, authentically good, with a real Neapolitan touch! The price is fair. If you want to stop by after visiting the Si...lver Pavilion at Ginkaku-ji or just take a break from excellent Japanese cuisine, call Ciro (or use facebook) to book a table or just pass by, Ciro speaks Italian and will arrange a table! FNS!

“A slice of Sicily in Kyoto”
Our family visit to Pizzeria Da Ciro in Kyoto was a delightful experience. Despite arriving almost at closing time, the staff welcomed us warmly, setting the tone for a memorable meal. The pizzas were nothing short of delicious. Thanks to the dedication of the owner, a Japanese gentleman who spent ...a few years in Sicily, the pizzas are a solid match to those you get in good places in Italy. The small size of the restaurant allows you to see all the action in the kitchen, adding to the charm. Our small daughter had an entirely nonverbal conversation with the owner, who is both skilled in his craft and a welcoming host. Her interaction with him added a special touch to our visit, making it more than just a meal.
