Restaurant Varier

We were staying close by to this restaurant and decided to take advantage of their prix fixed lunch. This is a genuine bargain with delicious food brilliantly presented. Although basically a French restaurant it has a Japanese twist to the flavours and first class produce. The wine by the glass is e...xpensive but the food is such good value that it is worth the cost. In Europe this standard of food would be twice as much. Finding the restaurant presents a bit of a challenge it is upstairs in an office block and I believe that they have another restaurant at the station so be careful when booking.

Food and service were excellent including the wine selection. Deserts were amazing and left us craving for more. We had special dietary requirements and they catered to our vegetarian palate with ease. Highly recommend the place with advance booking in case you are a vegetarian.

Restaurant Varier located near the business district in Osaka features first class French Cuisine and Service that make Varier the perfect place for Lunch. You gotta love everything about French Cuisine in Japan. It's best to go for Lunch because they have Lunch Course Menu's that are amazing and ha...ve great value. Where else can you get a Michelin Style Lunch for about 5,000 Yen or forty U.S. dollars? Everything is first class and the presentation too pretty to eat. You feel like royalty when eating at French Restaurant's and all i can say is that all my experiences at French restaurant's in Japan don't even compare to any French Restaurant in Hawaii unless you want to pay a King's Ransom. Restaurant Varier is highly recommended as i have been there twice already and both times were amazing!!!

A perfect meal fantastic lunch menu, top class service. Un parcours sans faute. All dishes cooked to perfection. A visual treat four course lunch for under 5000Y total bargain given the quality and service. Here is where wealthy Osaka families go to celebrate and discuss family business. This restau...rant if in France where I live, would have two michelin stars. All dishes served with sauces, vegetanles exceptional, meats cut table side, great service. Super champagne Pannier followed by cru bourgeois Medoc Vieux Robin à point. Escargot, cabillaud, filet de porc caramelisé, dessert basé sur des fruits. Good coffee no extra chocolates or gourmandises, just right. Can't praise enough.
