“Excellent Kaiseki dinner”
This was our best dinner during our three-week visit to Japan. The service and dishes were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, even though it was a relatively quiet night.

“Great Sushi Bar”
In the JW Marriott Hotel, the lovely Azekura dining room is their Japanese restaurant. They offer private table, sushi bar and Tepanaki dining. We chose the Sushi Bar, which started with great appetizer and tempura, followed by sushi courses made by their meticulous chef. The restaurant is quite sty...lish and the personnel very attentive.

“Go elsewhere ”
Such a disappointment. Literally 10x more expensive than the great place around the corner; one person had a mild seafood allergy so they denied the whole table the seafood we were presumably paying for; service attentive but insensitive, so they were constantly interrupting our conversation; and th...ere was a small child screaming next to us. Not what I expected at all. $21 for a glass of very simple wine. Go elsewhere

“Pricy but high quality food and service”
It is a little bit pricy but the food is definitely amazing. The service is very accommodating as well but the ability to explain the dish in English seems somehow limiting. In general, beside the higher than the normal price in Nara area, it is a great experience with high quality food.
