“Elegant Italian Treat”
Came across this attractive restaurant, perched on the second floor on a corner of a backstreet just a block or so from the Saiin station. With windows on three sides and nicely designed lighting, it has a bright but pleasant environment. While they didn’t have an English menu, the menu had maybe ...six sections with a half dozen items each. The server explained the items we were interested in. Not big eaters, we shared the house salad and a pizza. Both were delicious. The salad was attractively designed with many elements and a citrus dressing. The pizza was about 12”, with a light and tender crust with a topping of tomato sauce, cheese, prosciutto and an egg. It immediately reminded me of a Venetian pizza I enjoyed many years ago. We enjoyed the salad and pizza very much. For dessert, they had a plate of six small but yummy items, including mango panna cotta, tiramisu, gelato cubes, pound cake, and pineapple. With an effervescent lemonchello, it was a refreshing end to a very satisfying meal. They also have a large outdoor table available, but wet weather kept us inside. Do know that this is an upstairs location with no elevator, to my knowledge. Every aspect of our visit was a delight. Even the thoughtfully appointed restroom had its charms. Highly recommended.
