This has become our favorite bar and small restaurant when the two of us want to have a perfect night out. The owner and his number one bartender, the amazing Momoko, will provide you with perfectly-made cocktails or your choice of the finest whiskeys and wines. At our request, they now even stock... our favorite Bourbon, Woodford Reserve. These folks are not yet highly proficient English speakers but they will figure out what you want. The food is an added plus and we usually eat at the bar, if it is just the two of us, or upstairs, if we are in a small group. The food, which usually includes a meat, a fish and a fowl choice, is simply but carefully prepared and we find it delicious! Their specialty is a beef-tongue stew which is very good. The also have nice appetizers, salads and deserts. These folks do their best to make your evening satisfying and enjoying. The bar often becomes quite sociable after 10:00 p.m. Great choices in soft background music, often jazz standards. Looking for a lovely and romantic evening? We suggest you try Ma Ka Sa.
