THE KONAMON BAR RIKYU

A well- hidden great place for lunch after you finish visiting the Osaka Castle. As you approach the entrance to purchase your tickets for entry to Osaka Castle, you will pass this brown castle like building on your right-- it is called the Landmark Square Building and inside of it, there are many ...shops, restaurants, and exhibits to see in the three floors. Hidden on the first floor -- when you enter, turn right and continue all the way down until you reach the last place on your left- it is The Konamon Bar Rikyu-- a busy lunch /eatery that offers a lot of different types of dishes. You select from their posted menu, line up to pay for it , and they will call you when your order is ready for pick up. There are plenty of seats and people come and go quickly once they are done eating. They accept credit cards as form of payment. I had the Kitsune udon and edaname for lunch and it was quick service within 5-10 minutes for pick up. It was a nice size order and tasty-- a nice place for lunch. Worth the stop here after visiting the Osaka Castle.

Great selection of food if you’re looking for a quick bite while visiting the Osaka Castle. Okinamori and Tokoyaki at its best 🍱 !!

My first experience with this popular food and I was underwhelmed. I’m looking forward to trying again at another place. A bit overpriced and bland, despite the plethora of sauces to choose from. I guess I should have known better than to buy a traditional street food at a tourist attraction.

Located on the grounds of Osaka Castle, this joint has fried chicken, fried mini okonomiyaki and ice cream. Girls love the ice creams and ice cafe latte
