“Jonathan for Japanese Food”
My friend took me to this restaurant on the way to visit a nearby famous bread maker. On the outside, the restaurant was designed match a typical Japanese family restaurant such as Jonathan, Gusto, Royal Host, Saizeria and Joyful; ground floor was parking lot and first floor was the main resto. Once... you came inside, the design was very Japanese, you must take off your shoes, put it into a locker with wooden key (yep, like in the onsen), change into a slipper then they will guide you to the destined available space. Most of them are tatami room and its adjustable into a big room by removing the divider. The restaurant was suitable for business conversation since it keeps the privacy and very quite. The waitress is very naturally pretty with kimono, and extremely polite. Once you be seated, they will hand you over an oshibori (hot towel). Very interesting traditional set menu, from Sukiyaki set, Sushi set, Soba or Udon set, Tempura set, and I was intrique by the Kurobuta Shogayaki set (black pork ginger set). My Kurobuta Shogayaki set comprises of rice, otsukemono (pickled vege), miso soup, a rare pork, a burner and vegetable. Put together the pork and vegetable and voila, you cook yourself a food. Honestly, the taste of the pork is extremely wonderful, its juicy, very tender, and the shogayaki sauce was amazing. I recommend this restaurant to anybody who are travelling by car in that area. I am not sure whether they have other branches.
