“Okonomiyaki on the list”
Travelling with a Japanese speaker who lives here, it was easy to order and try this iconic dish. I have read about it but the real thing is something else! The thick pancake is cooked and then placed on a heated metal plate built into the table and you add on toppings of your choice, one literally ...with a paintbrush and mayo which comes out in multiple lines which is fun. Good to see the fish flakes dance about in the heat. You are provided with a metal spatula to cut your portion to eat off a small plate with chopsticks. Very filling, contains various things such as cabbage, prawns, spring onion, bacon/ pork rashers and egg. The batter isn't quite cooked through to the middle but this is ok once you accept it! We also tried takoyaki, octopus balls which are a bit like Chou buns but with the same slightly liquid batter on the inside.Very good value and quick service. Take the bill to the till when ready to leave.

“Awesome okonomiyaki”
Very nice and flavourful. Wish there's a staff who understand what we want to eat. Other than that. It's a nice place to eat since there no crowd now.
