“Good Quality and Reasonable Prices”
Chojiro is conveniently located near Sumiyoshi train station (JR and Rokko Liner). It is across from the station and Sumiyoshi shrine and up a light of stairs. There's a signup sheet and sometimes people waiting. If you sign up for the counter you'll likely be seated sooner. A few tables are away fr...om the conveyor belt. They will offer you a tablet for ordering regardless and there is an English option. I recommend checking the chef's specials and trying the tempura. They offer sake and beer along with highballs and other drinks. The staff will take your drink orders while you either select from the belt or choose from the tablet. Watch the tablet as there you have to press enter multiple times for your order to be accepted. Chojiro has fresh fish and is better than most conveyor sushi outlets. Prices are reasonable. Oh, you must ask for the bill - they don't have button for this - and they do accept credit cards.

“Easy and Foreigner Friendly”
Chojiro is conveniently located near the JR Sumiyoshi train station and Sumiyoshi Shrine. It seems to be open all day and can be quite busy in the evenings. Choir offers both counter seats (less in demand) as well as tables (you might have to wait for one of them). You sign in and may need to use Go...ogleTranslate to choose the box for counter vs table. There is a conveyor belt from which you can choose but you'll likely need the tablet which, fortunately, has an English option. Sashimi, sushi, miso soup, fruit, tempura, beer and sake can all be selected from the menu. You have to press choose, decision and submit (several buttons) to get your order in. You can indicate "no wasabi" when you order on the tablet. The sushi is pretty decent and all very reasonably priced. They accept credit cards. We visit Chojiro regularly.
