Soooo good! We ate ourselves FAT! 3 adults for under $100. This is a legit Japanese sushi place. They don’t serve food on conveyor belts, rather you order on a tablet and they have an English menu although everyone only speaks Japanese. We ordered Sashimi nigiri set, bluefin 3 ways, two types of t...oro, udon, tempura, puffer fish, octopus and ame ebi shrimp with heads fried. Forgot to take pictures after the first order arrived (max 8 items at a time) and we ordered at least 3 times. Shrimp and octopus were so fresh and sweet! Puffer fish lightly seared and yummy. All the nigiri was delicious as was the miso soup and chawanmushi. We may have to go there again even though we’re only here for 3 nights. Highly recommend reservations in advance, otherwise it’s a 30-40 minute wait but worth it!

We stopped into here for a spot of lunch in Kyoto. There was a sushi train and dishes could also be ordered via an iPad. All of the dishes we ordered were served quickly and very good. Green tea was included in a complimentary basis and overall the value was excellent.

We ate here recently while staying at the Kyoto Grand Prince. It was an excellent escape from the restaurant choices at the hotel and within easy walking distance (about 15 -20 minutes). The restaurant is one of a chain with several in Kyoto and perhaps elsewhere in Japan. They offer traditional sus...hi and sashimi and also a number of vegetarian options. We particularly thought the tuna was very well prepared and liked a grilled eggplant served sushi style. It was easy to order from an English menu mounted at your table using an iPad that kept track of everything. You could also sit by a conveyor belt and select items that way. This was a fun evening and a great break from the hotel!
