Yokohama Tenkatori Karasumagojoten

The food was delicious and filling. We had the kimchi hot pot the regular hot pot, 2 skewers of wasabi pork, pork and mushrooms and pork and one other one I can’t remember. The sides were daikon and pickled cabbage? Everything was so good.

Our hotel ( Citadines hotel, around the corner) suggested this restaurant, and they were right! :D We tried a lot of different Yakitori, drank our fair share of beer and pay a very honest bill ( something like 7000 yen for two very hungry people ... absolutley great! ) The only problem? We discovere...d it only the last day! Truly a great small restaurant. If i'll be back in kyoto, I'll surely go back. I even told to our tour operator to include it on the restaurants suggested in kyoto.

We chanced upon this place and decided to try because the reviews were so good. It was awesome - the best yakitori that we had ever had. There wasn’t a single item that we ordered that was not delicious. The chicken wing was especially good. In fact, the yakitori was so great that we went back the n...ext night. The service was also excellent - we ordered two servings of the tomato because we had four people but they only had one stick left - they actually gave us 4 tomatoes instead of the usual 3 so that each of us could have one. Will definitely go back again.

We went to Tenkadori quite late on a Sunday evening, they accepted to take us without any trouble. Cheerful service, small place but we felt ar home: small tables where you seat directly on the floor on little cushions, very cozy. The food was tasty and diverse, prices very reasonable. Thank you for... this pleasant diner!

We were craving vegetables and this cosy place delivered well. Beautiful grilled mushrooms eggplant and asparagus kept us happy, with pork and chicken. Service was friendly and the cute toilet design was a lovely touch too!
