“Great Lunch!”
Even though the place is small, and works on 1, max 2 waitresses, the selection of Okinawa cuisine is mouth melting and everything is quite fast and extremely friendly. Been there for two lunches, first with my friend, another single, and have enjoyed both times very much.

“DO IT!!!!”
Service was great, and food was amazing! Variety of food that wasn't your typical Japanese feast but allowed us to have Pork Belly with Mexican and some vegetarian croquettes thrown in there. Prices are reasonable and the food will fill you up.

“Service very very bad ”
I do not recommend this restaurant at all, the service is very very bad. They have only one waitress for 8 tables for the whole restaurant. Go to better options in Kyoto We waited for more than one hour than my and husband never received his plate.

“Great Alternative Food”
This place has great Okinawaan food and drink. The different options were very tasty and all at a very good price. They have a pretty accurate English menu which helps. The have clearly labelled vegetarian/vegan options too. Great vibes and service. Has made me want to visit Okinawa

“Guidebook advice”
Went as fancied something Japanese but a little different from the norm. Guidebook had this down as Okinawan - it’s correct. So the restaurant is a little out of the way (no bad thing as it was a little quieter that elsewhere), excellent vibe and authentic cuisine with great specials. Excellent serv...ice and not expensive at all. Make this a must stop on your Kyoto trip.
