“Bad ramen”
It’s so bad to visit Japan and had an experience like that one !!! The only reason I write the review it’s to protect you that read now of a bad ramen experience which doesn’t worth for your holidays ! And if you want more explanation: the spring onions are bad old and smelly , the chicken was dead... in a broth that seems 100% broke . Noodles seems like spaghetti in law quality . The broth is like knor ( supermarkets broth ) . The egg was like dry age . And more more more details . I even don’t want and bored to write about dumplings I order for starter . Sooo the care yourselves and wish you a successful gastronomy experience in Kyoto .

“Gluten free paradise”
Amazing restaurant for gluten free! I tried numerous appetisers, however, the shrimp tempura was absolutely amazing! As a coeliac, it is frustrating finding tasty food when on holiday, however, this restaurant did not disappoint. Plus the rest of the family enjoyed their meals just as much as I did.... Service was also very welcoming and helpful. I would 100% recommend this restaurant.

“Delicious! Perfect for vegetarians!”
Tandan ramen was amazing. Strawberry soda was delicious. Staff was very friendly and spoke excellent English. I'm so happy to find a decent vegetarian place in Japan.

“Disappointing wagyu ramen experience”
Having done some research a friend and I decided to come to the Moon and Back. Upon taking our seats we realised that it was full of only tourists. Had we been braver we would have left at that point. The waiter who served us was deadpan and at one point as the food was being placed on our table I t...hought he was going to get into a heated argument with a colleague who served my friend, as he hadn't heard him ask to leave the gas lighter on the table. The food was adequate and the portion was small. I've had much much better ramen elsewhere. We paid nearly 5000 yen for a couple of wagyu ramen dishes. Would I come again...no. Would I go somewhere frequented by mainly locals....you bet.

“Great for gluten free and vegan.”
The food was so good. The gluten free ramen was perfect. The chicken broth was rick and flavorful. And the gluten free vegan dumplings were tasty and as good as regular dumpling. It’s a new Resturant and a little hard to find, on the 3rd floor with just a small sign on the street. The interior is... bright and pleasant. I hope they do well.
