“Great atmosphere, absolutely old school Japanese style”
We went to bar Orange after riding bikes up and down the river the sun was sitting in the Twilight was lovely. There was a great option for a cheap and quick beer and snack. My wife chose the sparkling wine and I had a really beautiful craft beer from Niigata - The owner Sakaguchi SAN is an old sch...ool Kyoto bartender and knows his whiskeys and wines intimately. He can mix any cocktail you want On The Spot with style price is a very reasonable. We will definitely return.

“Nice views over the river, great place to chill”
We found this on our first day in Kyoto, and enjoyed a few cocktails at a table outside, overlooking the river. I think we were the only ones there - it was about 4pm - and the guy served us with decent snacks too. all Very pleasant.

“Good view of the river ”
We stopped in to have a drink and check out the view. The bar have amazing selection of spirits and some great cocktails. You get a great view of the river and even though we didn’t try the food menu, it looks good. The staff were also great.
