“We had a great dinner here”
As it happened, this place is right next door to our AirBnb in Kyoto. My son & DIL had lunch here one day and they liked it. So my wife, son, DIL, and I went for dinner a couple of days later. It was a great meal. Recommended. The restaurant's tiny, though. There are only 4 tables and one of those... seats only two people. We were hoping to get take-away (being right next door), but that wasn't available when we went.

“An unexpected surprise ”
On opening the door we were welcomed in with the warm embrace of delicious curried aromas. The environment is totally chilled, and laid back with a cool, slightly chaotic alternative feel. Some sweet beats to set different scene to the usual curry joints. The menu is only in Japanese but was expla...ined well enough by the chef whose service was great but very relaxed, making for a pretty cruisey dining experience. The food was delish and served quickly without any fuss and an explanation of each dish. Indian style with a Japanese twist. So good.
