“Namisato and Crew: Great Experience!!!”
Just arrived in Kyoto this afternoon. Checked into hotel and took a walk through Gion and general area. Along the stream that this restaurant sits on,we saw through the huge window, Chef/ Owner Namisato working his magic in the kitchen. Intrigued, we circled the block, found the entrance and were wa...rmly welcomed by Nisa, one of the cooks. She politely explained the menu and invited us to join at the counter. From there we watched the culinary dance unfold with 10 beautiful courses that tasted very good- looked amazing and can only be described as a wonderful experience. We spent about 2 hours there and at the end enjoyed conversing with both Chef Namisato and Nisa. They weren’t busy at the time of our departure so we were able to share a kind moment. Finally with it raining hard and us preparing to leave, Nisa provided us complimentary umbrellas insisting there was no need to return them. Just a really nice gesture. Thank you Team Namisato. This is the greatest restaurant I have ever been to in my life. Best meal. Best staff. Incredible atmosphere. Beautiful location. Unbelievable. Take a date.

“Quite possibly one of the best dining experiences ever experienced.”
We had the ten course Kaiseki dinner. We were able to make our reservation on the same day. The ambiance was authentic and relaxed. The service quality was outstanding. Each course was individually prepared and the beverage options were plentiful. This was an outstanding dining experience and gr...eat value for money given the quality of the dishes and sake and first-rate hospitality.

“Kyoto best ramen ”
Absolutely amazing ramen. The soup is full of flavor but not grease and the noodles have the right bite… Best ramen we had in Japan by far. My boys love ramen so we tried ramen in every city we went and nothing compared with this location.

“Best Ramen ever!!!”
If you're looking to find really great Ramen, this is it!!!! The best I've ever had. Tasty complex and rich flavors are memorable. You will be pleasantly surprised. Hector, our waiter was also helpful in giving us directions.
