“Overcharged as a foreigner”
I have visited this restaurant many times without issue. However on this occasion I was served by a different member of staff who overcharged me when I provided them with a 10% discount token. Once I saw the total on the cashier screen, I provided them with my 10% discount token. Once this discount ...was taken off, a late night surcharge fee was added which I found supsicious, as this had never happened before. This was just after 11pm & the restaurant closes until 11.30pm. There were others still in the restaurant when I left. I seeked advice about this charge from my Japanese friends, who confirmed this has never happened to them. This is unacceptable and clearly targeted due to me being a foreigner. This restaurant chain has now lost a customer who has worked in large hospitality business for over 10 years. I will be sure to share my feedback with many others.
