I recently had the pleasure of dining at an all-you-can-eat concept featuring king crab and wagyu steak, and it completely exceeded expectations. The highlight, of course, was the food. The king crab legs were incredibly fresh, sweet, and perfectly prepared—easy to crack and generously portioned. Each bite tasted clean and buttery without needing much enhancement. The wagyu steak was equally impressive: tender, richly marbled, and cooked to perfection. It practically melted in your mouth and had that signature depth of flavor that makes wagyu so special. What really stood out was the consistency. Even though it’s all-you-can-eat, the quality never dropped. Every round came out hot, well-presented, and just as delicious as the first. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Staff were quick to refill orders, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, which made the whole experience seamless. Dining at Ushimaru felt like a quiet indulgence tucked away from the busy streets of Shinsaibashi. I only spent a short time there, but it was enough to appreciate the calm atmosphere and the care put into every detail. The experience felt intimate and unhurried, allowing me to fully enjoy each bite... and just be present in the moment. It was more than just a meal, it felt like a pause, a small space where I could slow down and savor something comforting before stepping back out into the city.
