“A "Must-Try" Interesting Restaurant”
I have saw the name couple times around Dotonburi. But I only really came to understand the restaurant after i stepped into one of the branch. After stepping in, what was welcoming was a vending machine to sell and issue food menu tickets. Not difficult to understand, we purchased our food and colle...cted tickets. pricing was very reasonable. Next, we started to see the surprises. Everyone was given a "slot" to sit down, where one seat and another was separated by partition. We passed the food ticket to the staff behind the window, soon, the food was delivered, and the curtain at the window was put down once food delivered. Need to say, food was reasonably good. Front entrance also displayed many dried food in nice gift-pack. Strongly recommended for such special experience....plus, food was really not bad....

“Unique Ramen Experience in Japan ”
I visited this restaurant in April 2018 with my husband and friends. This location is busy due to the attractions along Dotonbori Street. However, it’s worth the hustle, bustle, and wait! We moved through the line within about 15 minutes. Using cash, we each placed our order at the machine and colle...cted our tickets. Next, we were ushered inside and given a paper to fill out and select the broth richness, noodle texture, spice level, etc. When 4 sears were available, we were seated in a row. This restaurant is unique in that you sit on a stool in your own individual cubby, with little dividers in either side of you. A curtain is dropped down before you, and only opens when your food arrives. The purpose of this set up is to “focus on the flavor” - what a neat concept! You have unlimited free water, and can even order beer and dessert. This ramen was so delicious! I tried it at 3 different places in Osaka and Tokyo, and this is the best! Highly recommend.

“Ichiran Ramen”
Best ramen in town. Good taste, but for indonesian taste, Ichiran maybe not so spicy and not so tasty.

“Truly delicious”
The main negative experience was that the ordering system was chaotic. There wasn't a long queue when we got there but customers had to place their order via the "automatic system" (vending machine) which was manned by a staff. The queue for the machine was managed by a staff, the lift to the seats ...was operated by a staff and upon seated, details of order (broth type, noodles firmness, spiciness etc) were taken by yet another staff!!! Despite all, we chose the recommended options for the broth, noodle firmness, saltiness, type of onions ... the noodles were al dente, broth was rich, tasty but maybe a tad salty. Good value!

“Good but not yet great”
The name spread around Thailand as the most popular ramen in Japan. Standing in a very long queue, many tourists, i have a chance to try this place. The taste was good but not great. You could find this taste in many places around Japan. It was just tourist hype.
