Osaka Cocktail Library Akashic Records

I saw this bar on Instagram and decided to stop in shortly before the show to get a few drinks after a long day at USJ. The staff was very nice and the drinks were good. I had the little planet and the absinthe sour before calling it a night. I really loved the decor of the place.

The cocktail library is slightly hidden and accessed in a lift from the main street but as soon as you step out of the lift and into the cocktail bar, you're taken somewhere completely different with a unique victorian/steam-punk vibe, the magical ambience is in every detail. From the minute we ar...rived we were warmly welcomed by a lovely bartender called Kiko who spoke with great enthusiasm and knowledge about the many different cocktails they served. Kiko offered suggestions when I couldn't make up my mind and we decided on a lemon tart martini and a twelve mile limit. They were both absolutely delicious and upon ordering exactly the same again, we then had the pleasure of meeting Katsura who was thrilled that I was enjoying the same drink as Katsura and Kiko loved too!! I can highly recommend visiting the Cocktail library, the drinks as well as the company will definitely make us return

Absolutely gorgeous quirky bar with a fabulous atmosphere. Staff were all so attentive, warm,and welcoming. We hadn’t booked but they kindly squeezed us in for a drink. Choco served us our drinks and she was so kind, her standards were very high. I would highly recommend this bar!

This place rocked. The vibes and drinks were awesome and it had a great showyness to it. Great vibe staff too. Our waitress, Choco, was especially helpful and fun!
