YOSHINOYA Namba CITY minamikan

My nephew spotted this Yoshinoya restaurant. From the South Exit of Namba Station, turn left and you’ll see it immediately. Just 1 min’s walk. He was most delighted because while planning for our Japan trip, he was aiming and looking forward to trying out Yoshinoya's famous dishes. Eating them i...n Japan would enable him to experience the real authentic taste. The restaurant was well-lit and airy. Staff was polite and efficient. Orders were taken promptly and serving was surprisingly fast. Business was good. One time, the nine of us had to go elsewhere because there was not enough seats for us. Happily, we followed him to enjoy a good meal. It didn't stop there. We had another two ‘happy meals’ after that. There was free flow of tea too, which was so fresh and cooling. We ordered the beef bowl, with thinly-sliced beef on top of rice; rice with curry; tonkotsu ramen and some other varieties, which my group ordered (I can’t remember) and we all were contented with the taste. It was not too oily or salty, just good enough. Above all, the price was reasonable. The ones I ordered were about 500y++. If we come to Japan, this will be our first choice again.

Went here as I was craving some Yoshinoya. It’s a shame they do not have this chain in Australia. Went to try the original rice bowl with beef, rice and onion which was absolutely delicious. My partner had the beef curry which was also yummy. Was a bit surprised they didn’t have Yakiniku like they d...o at Yoshinoya Indonesia. Maybe it’s not popular in Japan. Enjoyed my experience would go again.

Finally got a chance to try the original Yoshinoya. The menu is surely different from what we have in our country. My boy straightly ordered beef with curry. I ordered beef with cheese plus onsen egg. My husband ordered beef set with salad and miso soup. The service is super express. The taste compa...red to Yoshinoya back home? Not really strong, but still super delish. Not to mention the perfect onsen egg that makes the dish into perfection.

My go to place for comfort food in Japan, easy to take away, or eat right there. They even have sukiyaki now so cheap food with really great taste

We went in to have lunch recently and found the food reasonable and suitable if you prefer to have some quality Japanese meal but not too expensive to fill your stomach with the quantity of food available. Only downside is the limited space in the restaurant but most Japanese restaurants have limite...d space in general.
