Resutoran Tawaterasu

This restaurant is very overpriced! There was little to no food available, even though it was the middle of dinner time (it was as if they weren’t cooking anything). There was little selection and the food seemed like it had been sitting there to just be reheated over and over again. Please save you...r money and do not eat here.

My daughter wanted to meet up in Kyoto and spent some time searching for a restaurant that had a buffet breakfast that included ice cream (she knows how to tempt me). This turned out to be the only one she could find, but it was close to my hotel so that was fine. A little dingy inside, but with go...od views of the immediate surroundings. Unusual shape for a restaurant but I guess that's what you get for being in a tower. Adequate buffet for the money, and yes there was ice cream. Staff left us to talk even after buffet service was over. Very convenient for the station. A decent breakfast.

We went to this restaurant with another couple and were excited for a nice meal with lots of options plus the men are big eaters. This restaurant is terribly over priced with almost NO hot food excluding soup, the salad bar was nice but not worth $48 AUD. The dessert bar had nice ice cream and that...’s about it. VERY VERY over priced, no view but atleast there’s air conditioning. Avoid this restaurant

Good food, but not extatic. Buffet with a variaty of dishes, but more continental than Japanese. Fortunately not in the top of the tower, but in it’s base.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, with courteous service. The buffet spread though is quite lacking in terms of high-end dishes, making the experience "unexciting." However, the veggies and fruits are really fresh, and one can look forward to a lavish spread of desserts, that are made with homeg...rown flavours, the matcha tea, as the highlight among several others.
