I was impressed by the efficiency of the place, and got my food within 10 minutes. The food was also very good and had excellent flavour and variety of dishes!

I stayed in a near by hotel for 5 days for my husband attending a conference. I am so happy to find out this little local Japanese food restaurant. The first time it took me over 5 min to read and find out how to purchase the ticket from the vending machine. I came almost once every day for either l...unch or dinner for the last 4 days. The food taste is good, the dish size is good enough for you eat with 2 full bowl of rice. The rice, green tea or water is unlimited help yourself in a counter. It comes with a bowl of miso soup - it will be GREAT if it is unlimited refill. Most of all, the price is affordable and good value - average ~ ¥680 - 1300 for lunch or dinner.

If you want good food for not too much money, this is a good choice for you. The Katsudon, pork cutlet with egg on rice and miso soup/680¥, is very good . It was recommended by my japanese friends for lunch. They really like the place.

There's not many restaurants open for breakfast so if you want Japanese breakfast this is one of them. Upon entering the restaurant are 2 vending machines. You purchase your order from the vending machine and a ticket will be given to you. Pass the ticket to the waiter and your breakfast will be ser...ved in a few minutes. Rice is available for top up if require. All in all, pretty good food and great value too.

I didn't have much expectation for a place like this but wow was I surprised. The fish was amazing! Fried calamari were perfect and it all was generously portioned. The chicken was a little greasy though.
