“charming little place!”
seems like I'm the first to review this place. we only chanced upon this hole in the wall place while looking for a place for dinner near our airbnb. this is a typical japanese bar/restaurant where i think the locals come after work to drink, have dinner and chat. the owner of the place speaks eng...lish, so ordering food is fine. we asked him for some recommendations and we ordered: chicken katsu, pork katsu, potato salad, tomato tempura, chazuke (tea porridge) and sake. very filling and delicious. the food really warmed us up from the cold outside. the owner was very friendly too and chatted with us for a while. i don't think tourists will visit this place much as its rather obscure, but do check it out if you're staying in the area!
