“Incredible food and experience”
Highly recommended. It’s an amazing intimate experience, the chefs and management are very hospitable and really take care of you. The whole experience is very well throughout, it’s a highlight dinner in Tokyo. All the dishes were incredible, we were really impressed, one of our favourite meals in J...apan!

“exquisite & innovative”
tempura dishes elevated each food, whether it be eggplant, lotus root or fish. non-tempura dishes were beyond innovative and absolutely delicious. the staff was outstanding. they only speak minimal english but communication was still seamless. highly recommend! it was a beautiful experience.

“Why no Michelin stars - absolutely must receive them!”
We visited tonight having booked for our first evening in Kyoto - we did not realise generally most Japanese would eat early and found out late into our 8pm booking how unusual this was, but being foreigners we didn’t realise but there were no complaints from the absolutely delightful chefs and fron...t of house Mori-san who I will come back to you shortly. From our arrival the service was outstanding, we were seated in front of the most beautiful outside garden area through a wide picture window - almost didn’t need the food as the view alone was worth the visit - and an incredible counter made of what appears to be one or maybe two pieces of polished wood The food was just stunning to throughout our evening, amazing tempura cooked in front of our eyes. Fresh vegetables, amazing fish, tender Kobe and Wagyu and an unbelievable dessert that I won’t spoil as it’s so special you have to find out for yourself when you visit Obviously it goes without saying being English speaking sometimes it can be tough eating out but our host for the evening Mori-san was amazing, his English was already excellent but where tricky food or conversation occurred he was able to translate so we could converse easily, rest assured whatever language you speak you will be given an incredibly warm welcome We were even seen out by the team and made sure we made it back to our Ryokan just a short way up the road Overall one of the best meals we have ever experienced and we have been fortunate to have eaten at some of the best restaurants around the world so please pay a visit, you won’t regret it!
