“Excellent and reasonably priced Yakinuku in Pontocho.”
Excellent and reasonably priced Yakinuku in the heart of Pontocho. We ate here one of our three evenings in Kyoto and it was great. We walked in at about 7:15 and were lucky enough to get a table upstairs straight away, but it was completely full thereafter. Very good beef in decent potions with ...good mixed vegetables. The bill came to a less than expected Y12.000 (GBP 60) including beers and sours.

“Beef will never be the same again!”
Our first Yakiniku experience in Japan was at this restaurant, and they took really good care of us. The service was timely, responsive and unfailingly courteous. The food was a revelation - our expectations of beef has changed forever. Thank you for a positive, enjoyable experience. We shall rem...ember this.

“Great dinner in Gion”
Food and service was excellent. I loved a dish with rice and wagyu, but we also ordered other dishes with wagyu and loved all of them.
