We stopped by at Kisoji Shabu Shabu with some business friends as it came highly recommended for a business dinner from my Japanese host. This is a great place to entertain friends or clients. From the time we sat down the service was prompt , professional yet friendly. The servers all wear kimono a...nd you sit on the floor with a sunken floor. The presentation of the food was fantastic. I loved the idea of mixing in my own ingredients and cooking the meat myself. We had the 4 large japanese rib- eye plates which was full of generous portions . Be careful because the meat cook quickly. You could tell the rib-eye was premium meat because of the marbleization and how buttery it taste when eating. The greasy plates of veggies, and tofu were perfect. The two ponzu sauces were deliciously seasoned and balanced. This is by far one of the best and most reasonably priced meals I have had for a meal in Japan.. I could not have been happier with my experience and will surely return the next time I am in the Handa/Komono area.
