“Seafood barbecue”
Isomaru Suisan is a national seafood restaurant chain. The branch is close to Nagoya's seafood market. While menu includes some nice sashimi options, grilled shellfish is the reason to come. Cooking live clam and conch in open fire is the essential Japanese way to enjoy the umami. Staff is welcoming... and happy to cater the grill. Price is very modest.

“Super good seafood rice bowl”
Great find for lunch next to the fish market. This is a very local simple restaurant with a good atmosphere. Friendly staff brings you an english menu. The seafood rice bowl with various sashimi was excellent.
