Sakaguchiya

The restaurant may look small from the entrance but it is actually quite spacious inside. They have normal seating as well as on tatami mat. Their Hida beef ramen is quite nice and tasty.

Super rude worker. I was putting my name down to wait for a table and she came out, crossed it off and pointed across the road and said ‘next’. Very abrupt and rude. I was by myself but if they don’t want to serve solo people than they should say that on the reservation form or even explain politely.... Worst experience I’ve had in japan so far.

We had the hida beef sushi and a meal set. The set was very good and the hida beef sushi was delicious! You must try it if you visit Kanazawa, it can also be purchased to eat in the go.

We went for a late lunch. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The beef curry dish was truly outstanding. Ramen was also excellent. Prices are reasonable.

We didn’t have the chance to dine at the restaurant. But we did queue for the hida sushi in the front window. They offer a variation of beef quality, sushi nigiri style with a senbei on the bottom. It’s good - since it is a hida beef afterall. But we also tried the other window that sells simmilar ...menu nearby and they all actually tastes amazing too. So if you want to try this one and it’s sold out allready, you can try other stall.
