“An unforgettable sukiyaki night”
I’ve never imagine there will be a meal that is so unforgettable for me. The environment is in traditional Japanese style and the vibe is nice. All of the staff are so polite. We sit by the window so that we can enjoy the night view of Nagoya. But the main point of the whole meal must be the beef... ..!!!!!!! We have tried both classes of the beef, which are “Top quality” and “High quality”. I must say both of them are so good but highly recommend to go for the “Top quality” one as this is SUPREME !! Must try and you will never forget the taste & texture of it. The sukiyaki set also comes with appetizer, sashimi, vegetable platter, rice with eggs, miso soup, salt pickles and dessert. The price is expensive, but it totally worth it. Our order: Hana Course Top quality beef ¥18,150 x 1 High quality beef ¥14,520 x 3

“Best beef ever”
We had our hotel Hilton Nagoya make a reservation for us a week before. I've had Imahan at its main branch in Asakusa before so I was really looking forward to this meal. Happy to report that the quality is the same, and the beef was absolutely a hit. There is an option of sukiyaki or shabu shabu, b...ut the sukiyaki is definitely the better choice. Buttery soft, it melted in my mouth. I'm not a big fan of red meat, so that's saying a lot. A lady was there to cook the meat for us, so we just had to watch and wait for the beef to be cooked to perfection. Highly recommended. Only point of improvement - our hotel booked us in a private room which can be quite stuffy as there is no windows. I'm not sure if there are other rooms available, but might be good to enquire.

“Expensive but worth it”
The restaurant was a Sukiyaki restarant. We chose a sukiyaki set (meat grilled and then dipped in raw egg) with sashimi and rice and a shabushabu set (meat cooked in broth) with rice. Both came with exquisite appetisers and plenty of sides. One came with miso soup and the other with cold noodles. Th...e presentation of the food was fantastic. Food itself was nice and high quality. We preferred the sukiyaki to the shabushabu. We were very full and happy by the end of the meal. We had a waitress that cooked our meal at our table and showed us how to put everything together. The courses came out part by part and it was just really relaxing and lovely. The service was impeccable. We had a waitress there with us for whole meal. She even walked us up a flight of stairs to the elevator to see us off and bowed to us until the doors of the lift closed!

“Superb View, Food and Service”
First, the beef. Perfectly marbled and ever so tender. Everything else was fresh and just right. Then, the service. The waitress who spoke a little English was ever so pampering, from beginning to end. She even walked me to the elevator and gave a deep bow after the meal. The waitress who prepar...ed the sukiyaki at my table didn't speak English, but was smart enough to communicate effectively. Last but not least, the view. On 41/F, one of the tallest buildings in Nagoya, you can look far out to the whole city on a clear day. What a serene environment with superb food and magnificent service!

“Excellent sukiyaki”
The original Japanese style sukiyaki. They cooked us at the table in every step. 1) appetizer (you can pay more if you want more kind of appetizer) 2) Beef sukiyaki with raw egg. 3) Beef sukiyaki with Japanese style noodle and some vegetable 4) Beef sukiyaki with mushroom and Tofu 5) The rest of th...e vegetable and rice cake. 6) The cooked the raw egg with onion and put above rice 7) Home made Japanese dessert The taste was good. You can experience authentic Japanese cuisine. It is located on 41st floor of Midland square. You can also enjoy very nice view of Nagoya station. I recommend this restaurant.
